Article 4 (Posting and Effect of the Terms)
(1) The Company posts the contents of these Terms within the Service so that Users can easily find them.
(2) These Terms take effect when a User agrees to their contents and the Company accepts such agreement, and apply until the service agreement terminates. However, among the provisions concerning Paid Services, those relating to payment, refunds and retention required by law shall remain in effect after the termination of the service agreement to the extent their nature so requires.
(3) The Company takes technical measures so that Users can review the contents of these Terms at any time.
Article 5 (Amendment of the Terms)
(1) The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate the relevant laws and regulations.
(2) When the Company amends these Terms, it shall announce the amendment within the Service, specifying the effective date and the reasons for the amendment, together with the current Terms, from 7 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date. However, in the case of an amendment that is unfavorable to Users or a material change, the Company shall make the announcement from 30 days before the effective date and shall also notify each User individually by the email address registered by the User or by an in-Service notification.
(3) When making the announcement or notification under paragraph (2), the Company shall also inform Users that if they do not express their refusal by the day before the effective date, they will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
(4) If a User, having received the notice under paragraph (3), does not express refusal by the day before the effective date, the Company shall deem the User to have agreed to the amended Terms as of the effective date. However, for price increases of Paid Services, the Company shall obtain the User's consent in accordance with Article 39.
(5) A User who does not agree to the amended Terms may terminate the service agreement. When making the announcement or notification under paragraph (2), the Company shall also provide information on the contents of the amended Terms, the effective date and the method for raising objections.
Article 6 (Individual Notices and Rules Outside the Terms)
(1) In addition to these Terms, the Company may establish individual notices or operating policies concerning the specific operation of the Service. Such individual notices or operating policies form part of these Terms, and in the event of a conflict with these Terms, these Terms shall prevail.
(2) Matters not provided for in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the relevant laws and regulations, related guidelines such as the "Guidelines on the Protection of Content Users", and commercial practice.
Chapter 2 Service Agreement and Accounts
Article 7 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
(1) The service agreement is formed when a person wishing to use the Service agrees to the contents of these Terms, applies for registration in accordance with the procedures set by the Company, and the Company accepts the application.
(2) The Company may refuse or withhold acceptance of an application that falls under any of the following items, and if any such ground is found after registration, the Company may revoke its acceptance or terminate the service agreement.
- Where the applicant has previously lost eligibility to use the Service under these Terms
- Where another person's name or information has been used
- Where false information has been entered or information required by the Company has not been entered
- Where the application is made by a person under 14 years of age
- Where there is no spare capacity in Service-related facilities or there are technical or operational problems
- Where accepting the application would otherwise violate the relevant laws and regulations or significantly impede the normal operation of the Service
(3) The service agreement is formed at the time the Company indicates completion of registration in the application process.
Article 8 (Age Requirement and Use by Minors)
(1) The Service may be used only by persons aged 14 or older. When registering, Users must confirm that they are 14 years of age or older before using the Service.
(2) If the Company confirms that a person under 14 years of age has used the Service, it shall suspend the use of the relevant Account and destroy the collected personal information without delay.
(3) Payment for Paid Services by minors aged 14 or older but under 19 is governed by Article 32(4).
Article 9 (Accounts and Means of Authentication)
(1) The Company authenticates Users through social login provided by Apple, Google, or Kakao, and does not collect or store Users' passwords.
(2) Each User may hold only one Account. However, an exception applies where the Company separately permits otherwise as necessary for the operation of the Service.
(3) The name a User uses in the Service must not infringe the rights of other Users or be contrary to public order and good morals. The Company may restrict the use of such a name or request that it be changed.
(4) If the social login account linked by a User is terminated or suspended, or if the User changes the email address of that account, the User may be unable to access the Service or may access it with a new Account. Although this is beyond the Company's control, upon the User's request the Company will, after verifying the User's identity, provide reasonable support so that the User can continue using their existing records.
Article 10 (Obligation to Manage Accounts)
(1) Users must not allow a third party to use their Account, and Users themselves are responsible for managing their Account and means of authentication.
(2) If a User becomes aware that their Account has been stolen or is being used fraudulently by a third party, the User must immediately notify the Company and follow the Company's instructions.
(3) The Company is liable for damage arising from its failure to take necessary measures despite having received the notification under paragraph (2). The Company is not liable for damage arising from the User's failure to give notification.
Article 11 (Changes to Member Information)
Users may view and modify their information within the Service at any time. The Company is not responsible for any disadvantage arising from a User's failure to update changes.
Article 12 (Notices to Users)
(1) Unless otherwise provided in these Terms, the Company may give notice to a User by the email address registered by the User or by an in-Service notification.
(2) For notices to all Users, the Company may substitute posting within the Service for 7 days or longer for the notice under paragraph (1). However, matters that materially affect a User's own transactions shall be notified individually.
Article 13 (Termination of the Agreement and Account Deletion by Users)
(1) Users may request termination of the service agreement at any time through the account deletion feature within the Service (provided in both the web application and the App) or through the contact details in Article 3, and the Company shall process the request without delay in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the relevant laws and regulations. Merely logging out or deleting the App does not terminate the service agreement.
(2) When the service agreement is terminated, the User's Account and information belonging solely to the Account are deleted as set forth in the Privacy Policy. The handling of records left in a Couple Space is governed by Article 29.
(3) A deleted Account and information belonging solely to that Account cannot be recovered. The Company is not responsible for recovering subscription and payment history after account deletion.
Chapter 3 Use of the Service
Article 14 (Composition of the Service)
(1) The Service is provided so that Users can configure a dashboard by selecting the Blocks they want, and create and share records together with their partner.
(2) The types of Blocks provided by the Company, the features and storage limits of each Block, and the scope available free of charge are as displayed on screens within the Service. However, the storage capacity of a Couple Space is governed by Article 21(4).
Article 15 (Characteristics of the Method of Providing the Service)
(1) The Service is provided as a web application used through a web browser and as an App downloaded and installed from an App Market. Users may log in with the same Account using either method to use the same Couple Space and records, and the two Users of a Couple may use different methods.
(2) When the web application is added to the home screen of a device, the home screen icon and name are displayed according to the values set by the User, and the manner of display may vary depending on the policies of the device's operating system and browser.
(3) Some features of the Service, such as notifications, adding to the home screen, home screen widgets, photo selection, screen lock and screen display, may be restricted or may operate differently depending on the type and version of the operating system or browser used by the User and the device settings, and some features may be provided only in either the web application or the App. The Company will make efforts to reduce such constraints, but is not responsible for feature restrictions arising from the policies of operating system, browser or App Market providers or from technical limitations.
(4) The Company may update the App for the stable provision and security of the Service. Some or all of the Service cannot be used on previous versions of the App for which support has ended, and in such case the Company shall provide guidance on updating within the App.
(5) Information from the Couple Space (anniversaries, schedules, photos, etc.) may be displayed on the lock screen or home screen of a device through the App's home screen widgets and notifications. If a User shares a device with others or others can see the device, the User must manage this using the widget and notification settings and the screen lock feature.
(6) If a User deletes data stored in the browser or deletes the App, the login status, settings stored on the device, and photos and videos whose upload has not yet been completed may be deleted. Records stored on the server are not affected, and the User can log in again and continue using them as before. Merely deleting the App does not terminate the service agreement.
Article 16 (Provision and Modification of the Service)
(1) In principle, the Service is provided 24 hours a day, every day of the year. However, it may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, failures or other reasonable grounds of the Company.
(2) The Company may change the contents of the Service and the composition of Blocks as required for operational or technical reasons, and shall announce such changes in advance. In the case of a material change unfavorable to Users, the procedures in Article 5(2) shall apply.
(3) The Company will make efforts so that Users can continue to use records they have already created. When the Company discontinues a Block, it shall make an announcement at least 30 days before the discontinuation date and take reasonable measures, such as providing a means of downloading, so that Users can keep the records stored in that Block.
Article 17 (Suspension of the Service)
(1) The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service where there is good reason, such as repair, inspection or replacement of facilities, breakdowns or communication failures, in which case it shall give notice in accordance with Article 12. However, where there is an unavoidable reason that makes prior notice impossible, notice may be given afterwards.
(2) If the Service can no longer be provided due to reasons such as a change of business line, abandonment of the business or a merger between companies, the Company shall give prior notice in accordance with Article 12.
(3) If the provision of Paid Services ends under paragraph (2), the Company shall refund the amount corresponding to the period that the User has already paid for but can no longer use, calculated on a pro rata daily basis in accordance with the criteria in Article 37(5), item 3. In this case, no penalty or fee shall be deducted.
(4) If, due to causes attributable to the Company, Paid Services are suspended for 4 or more consecutive hours or a failure occurs that prevents their normal use, the Company shall extend the period of use of the Paid Services free of charge by a period equal to three times the duration of the suspension or failure.
(5) If, due to causes attributable to the Company, Paid Services are suspended or a failure occurs for 3 or more consecutive days, or the cumulative duration of suspensions and failures within one month exceeds 72 hours, the User may terminate the Paid Services and receive a refund in accordance with Article 37(5), item 3.
(6) The duration of suspensions and failures under paragraphs (4) and (5) is calculated from the earlier of the time the Company became aware of the failure and the time the User notified the Company. However, suspensions and failures due to force majeure such as natural disasters, maintenance notified in advance under paragraph (1), or the User's intent or negligence are not included in such duration.
Article 18 (Sending of Notifications and Notification Settings)
(1) The Company may provide information necessary for the use of the Service by means such as in-Service notifications, push notifications and email.
(2) Users may change whether to receive each type of notification in the settings within the Service. However, notices concerning matters that materially affect Users' rights and obligations, such as the service agreement, payments and security, may be sent regardless of the notification settings.
(3) When sending advertising information for commercial purposes, the Company shall obtain the User's prior consent to receive it in accordance with the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection", and Users may withdraw their consent at any time.
Article 19 (Obligations of the Company)
(1) The Company shall exercise its rights and perform its obligations in good faith in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and these Terms.
(2) The Company shall maintain a security system for the protection of personal information so that Users can use the Service safely, and shall disclose and comply with its Privacy Policy.
(3) If the Company finds that an opinion or complaint raised by a User is justified, it shall handle it without delay and communicate the result to the User.
Article 20 (Obligations of Users)
(1) Users must comply with the relevant laws and regulations, these Terms and the guidance within the Service.
(2) Users must not engage in any of the following acts.
- Entering false information when registering or changing information
- Stealing another person's information or using another person's Account without authorization
- Infringing the copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Company or a third party
- Registering Content to which the User does not hold lawful rights, or registering another person's photos, conversations or personal information without that person's consent
- Damaging the reputation of, or interfering with the business of, the Company or a third party
- Posting or sharing obscene material, content that sexualizes children or adolescents, violent or hateful content, or other content that violates the law or is contrary to public order and good morals
- Using the Service for commercial advertising, spam, fraud or other illegitimate acts
- Reverse engineering the Service or attempting to extract its source code
- Accessing the Service by automated means or collecting data by methods not permitted by the Company
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service or causing excessive load on its facilities
- Acquiring, transferring or selling rights to use Paid Services by methods not permitted by the Company
- Any other act that violates the relevant laws and regulations
Article 21 (Data Storage)
(1) The Company operates a reasonable backup system to store Users' Content reliably.
(2) The Company does not guarantee the recovery of Content deleted by Users themselves, Content deleted together with a Couple Space under Article 30, files deleted under Article 36(8), or Content that has become inaccessible due to the User's negligence in managing their Account or device.
(3) Users are recommended to save and keep separate copies of Content that is important to them.
(4) The storage capacity for photo and video files (the "Files") that can be stored in each Couple Space is 500MB for Free, 10GB for Plus and 50GB for Unique. During a free trial period, the same storage capacity as Free applies.
(5) If the stored Files exceed the storage capacity of the plan in use, new Files cannot be uploaded. Even in this case, Content already stored can still be viewed, and Files for which the Service provides a download feature can be downloaded.
Chapter 4 Content
Article 22 (Rights to Content)
(1) Copyright and other rights to Content entered or uploaded to the Service by a User belong to the User.
(2) The Company may store, process and display Users' Content on screen to the extent necessary for the provision and operation of the Service, and may provide it to the linked partner in accordance with the User's settings and the Couple link.
(3) The Company does not use Users' Content for advertising, marketing or promotional purposes without the User's consent, and does not use it for purposes other than providing the Service, such as training artificial intelligence models.
(4) The Company accesses Users' Content only to the minimum extent necessary for operating the Service, responding to failures, fulfilling legal obligations or processing User requests, and such access rights are controlled under the security system in Article 19(2).
(5) Copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Company belong to the Company, and Users may not reproduce, distribute or transmit them for commercial purposes without the Company's prior approval.
Article 23 (Management of Content)
(1) The Company has no obligation to view or review Users' Content on an ongoing basis.
(2) If the Company determines that a User's Content violates the relevant laws and regulations, it may delete the Content or restrict its posting.
(3) A person whose legal interests are infringed by Content may request the Company to delete the Content, and the Company shall take the necessary measures without delay and notify the person of the result.
(4) If the Company takes measures under paragraph (2), it shall notify the User of the reasons and the method for raising objections. However, in urgent cases, notice may be given after the measures are taken.
Article 24 (Public Posts)
(1) Posts and reactions left by Users in features that are visible to other Users, such as "Share an idea" in the Service (the "Public Posts"), are, unlike records in a Couple Space, visible to other Users of the Service.
(2) Public Posts may be displayed together with other Users' reactions and the Company's replies. Users may delete their Public Posts at any time.
(3) If a User deletes their account, their Public Posts, as posts that also carry other Users' reactions and the Company's replies, are retained without deletion, and the author is displayed as "Deleted user". Please delete any Public Posts you do not wish to leave behind yourself before deleting your account.
(4) If a User believes that a Public Post violates Article 20(2), the User may report it to the Company using the reporting feature in the Service, and may block Public Posts of an unwanted User so that they are not shown. The Company reviews reported posts and takes measures in accordance with Article 23.
Article 25 (Protection of Personal Information)
The Company protects Users' personal information as prescribed by the relevant laws and regulations. Matters relating to the processing of personal information are governed by the separate Privacy Policy.
Chapter 5 Couple Space
Article 26 (Couple Linking)
(1) A Couple link is established when one User uses an invitation means issued by another User to join the same Couple Space.
(2) The two linked Users have equal rights to the Couple Space. However, features that the Company has designated as writable or editable only by the author are governed by that designation.
(3) A User may participate in only one Couple Space at a time. If a User who has already joined a Couple Space uses another invitation means, the User leaves the existing Couple Space and joins the new Couple Space, and the records left in the existing Couple Space are handled in accordance with Article 28(2).
Article 27 (Records in the Couple Space and Joint Use)
(1) Records stored in a Couple Space are records created jointly by the two linked Users, and both Users may view and use them.
(2) Users may delete records they have created within the Service at any time.
(3) A User leaves records in a Couple Space on the premise that such records are shared with the linked partner and may remain with the partner in accordance with Articles 28 and 29.
Article 28 (Unlinking a Couple)
(1) Users may request unlinking of the Couple at any time, and the link is dissolved at the request of either party.
(2) A User who has unlinked and left the Couple Space loses access rights to that space. Because records stored in the Couple Space are also the records of the remaining partner, they are not deleted but are retained in the space, and the remaining partner may continue to use them.
(3) After unlinking, an unlinked User cannot view the records of that space on the screens of the Service. Please save any records you need to keep yourself before unlinking.
(4) Notwithstanding paragraph (3), an unlinked User may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their own personal information remaining in that space, as provided by the "Personal Information Protection Act", through the contact details in Article 3. The Company shall process such requests to the extent prescribed by the relevant laws and regulations, taking into account the interests of the remaining partner as well, and shall inform the User of the result. Detailed criteria are set forth in the Privacy Policy.
Article 29 (Handling of Records upon Account Deletion)
(1) When a User deletes their account, the User's Account and information belonging solely to the Account (login link information, email address, nickname, language and notification settings, notification inbox, push subscription information, etc.) are deleted or rendered unidentifiable as set forth in the Privacy Policy.
(2) Because records left in a Couple Space by a User who has deleted their account (all writings, photos, dates, amounts and other items left by the User) are also the records of the remaining partner, they are not deleted, regardless of the type of feature, and are retained in the space. In features that display the author's name, the author is displayed as "Deleted user".
(3) Users may delete records they do not wish to leave behind themselves within the Service before deleting their account. A User who wishes to have specific records deleted after account deletion may make a request through the contact details in Article 3, and the Company shall process the request to the extent prescribed by the relevant laws and regulations, taking into account the interests of the remaining partner as well.
(4) The remaining User may delete records created by a User who has deleted their account or unlinked. However, records that the Company has designated as writable or editable only by the author may be edited only by the author.
Article 30 (Extinction of a Couple Space)
If no Users remain in a Couple Space, the space and all records and files stored in it are deleted together and cannot be recovered.
Chapter 6 Paid Services and Payment
Article 31 (Provision of Paid Services)
(1) The Company may provide some Blocks and features of the Service as paid subscription products.
(2) The types of Paid Services, the scope of available Blocks and features, prices and billing cycles are as displayed on the plan screen within the Service. Displayed prices include value-added tax.
(3) The right to use Paid Services is granted on a per-Couple basis and applies to both the User who made the payment and the linked partner User.
(4) When a Paid Services agreement is concluded, the Company makes its contents available on the subscription management screen within the Service so that the User can view them immediately.
Article 31-2 (Payment through App Markets)
(1) Users may pay for Paid Services using the payment methods provided by the Company in the web application, and using the payment methods of the relevant App Market in the App. The contents of the Paid Services are the same regardless of the payment channel, but prices may differ depending on the payment channel.
(2) For Paid Services paid for through an App Market ("App Market Payments"), payment, automatic renewal, product changes, handling of and grace periods for failed payments, cancellation, consent procedures for price changes and management of payment methods are governed by the policies and procedures of the relevant App Market. In this case, Article 33(4), Article 34(4) and (5), Article 35, Article 36(1) through (3), Article 38 and Article 39(1) and (2) do not apply.
(3) App Market Payments may be cancelled on the subscription management screen of the relevant App Market. Because deleting one's account or deleting the App alone may not stop the automatic renewal of App Market Payments, Users must cancel the subscription in the App Market.
(4) Withdrawal of subscription and refunds for App Market Payments may be requested from the App Market in accordance with the refund policy of the relevant App Market, in which case Article 37(5) through (8) do not apply. Where a refund is required under these Terms or the relevant laws and regulations, the Company shall take the necessary measures so that the refund is made through the App Market operator.
(5) If a User who made an App Market Payment leaves the Couple Space for a reason set forth in Article 36(5), the remaining partner may continue to use the Paid Services until the end of the period of use already paid for. The Company shall stop automatic renewal to the extent permitted by the App Market, and if the App Market does not permit this, the User must cancel directly in the App Market in accordance with paragraph (3). In this case, the part of Article 36(5) concerning the destruction of the payment key and paragraph (7) of the same Article do not apply.
(6) A single App Market Payment applies to only one Couple Space and is not transferred to another Couple Space during its period of use. If an App Market Payment is made for a Couple Space that is already using Paid Services through another payment channel, that payment does not apply, and the User may request a refund from the App Market in accordance with paragraph (4).
(7) Matters not provided for in this Article are governed by the other provisions of these Terms.
Article 32 (Formation of the Paid Services Agreement)
(1) The Paid Services agreement is formed when a User agrees to these Terms and the payment-related information and completes payment using a payment method provided by the Company.
(2) The Company may refuse a User's payment application or withhold or revoke acceptance in any of the following cases.
- Where false information is entered or required information is not entered during the payment process
- Where payment is deemed to have been made with a stolen payment method
- Where payment of the price has not actually been made or is unlikely to be made
- Where the User has violated these Terms
- Where a minor under 19 years of age applies without the consent of their legal representative
- Where accepting the application would otherwise violate the relevant laws and regulations
(3) Where a failure has occurred in the Service or there is a reason making normal operation of the Service difficult, the Company may temporarily withhold acceptance until the reason is resolved.
(4) Where a minor aged 14 or older but under 19 pays for Paid Services, the consent of the legal representative is required, and a contract concluded without such consent may be revoked by the minor or the legal representative. However, if the minor has engaged in active deception, such as misrepresenting their identity or name to induce the belief that they are an adult, the right of revocation may be restricted under Article 17 of the "Civil Act".
Article 33 (Free Trial)
(1) The Company may provide a free trial for a certain period to Couples using Paid Services for the first time. The trial period is as displayed on screens within the Service.
(2) No charges are incurred during the free trial period, and the right to use Paid Services expires when the trial period ends. Unless the User separately makes a payment or schedules a payment under paragraph (4), the end of the trial alone does not result in any charge.
(3) The free trial is provided once per Couple Space. The Company may restrict the provision of the free trial where it is used repeatedly by fraudulent means.
(4) Users may schedule payment for Paid Services during the free trial period. If scheduled, the first payment is made with the registered payment method on the day the trial period ends, and the User may change the scheduled product or cancel the schedule at any time before the first payment. If the first payment fails, payment is retried for one day, and if it continues to fail, the schedule is cancelled.
Article 34 (Payment and Automatic Renewal)
(1) Paid Services are provided on a recurring payment basis in monthly or annual units. The service period of a monthly product is 1 month from the payment date, and the service period of an annual product is 12 months from the payment date.
(2) The initial payment is made with the payment method registered by the User, and thereafter the price of the product paid for by the User is automatically charged to the same payment method on the day each billing cycle expires. If the day corresponding to the payment date does not exist in a given month, the charge is made on the last day of that month. Automatic payment may be processed shortly before the billing cycle expires, and if the User cancels close to the time of expiry, the next payment may be made depending on the status of payment processing. If the price has changed, Article 39 applies.
(3) Users are deemed to have received information on whether the subscription renews automatically and the amount to be charged upon renewal at the time of payment, and to have agreed thereto.
(4) Users may check the next scheduled renewal date at any time on the subscription management screen within the Service. For annual products, the Company sends the scheduled renewal date and the amount to be charged to the email address registered by the paying User at least 7 days before the scheduled renewal date.
(5) If a User changes to another Paid Service or changes the billing cycle, the amount corresponding to the remaining period of the existing product is calculated on a pro rata daily basis and deducted from the price of the new product before payment, and the period of use of the new product starts anew from the time of the change. However, while using an annual product, the User cannot change to a monthly product; in this case, the User may pay for a monthly product after the current period ends.
Article 35 (Registration and Management of Payment Methods)
(1) Card information entered by Users for recurring payments is held by the payment agency, and the Company stores only the key values necessary for payment and masked information for display purposes. The Company does not store payment authentication information such as Users' full card numbers, expiration dates or CVCs.
(2) Users may change their payment method at any time on the subscription management screen within the Service.
(3) If payment becomes impossible due to expiration, reissuance, loss or the like of the registered payment method, the User must update the payment method, and if payment fails because it was not updated, Article 38 applies.
(4) In the case falling under Article 36(5), or where a User requests deletion of a payment method, the Company shall without delay delete the recurring payment method registered with the payment agency and render the payment key it had stored unusable. In this case, automatic renewal of the Paid Services stops. However, the transaction history of payments already made and masked card information for display on screen are retained for the period prescribed by the relevant laws and regulations, and such retention is governed by the Privacy Policy.
(5) Matters concerning the entrustment of personal information processing to the payment agency are governed by the Privacy Policy.
Article 36 (Cancellation of Paid Services)
(1) A User who has paid for Paid Services may cancel the Paid Services at any time on the subscription management screen within the Service. Only the paying User may cancel or withdraw a cancellation.
(2) Upon cancellation, the User may choose one of the following.
- To continue using the Paid Services until the end of the period of use already paid for, and stop automatic renewal thereafter
- To end use immediately and receive a refund of the amount corresponding to the remaining period in accordance with Article 37
(3) Cancellation within the Service is processed as item 1 of paragraph (2), and a User who wishes item 2 shall request a refund by the method in Article 37(7).
(4) If the right to use Paid Services expires or the plan is changed to a lower plan, and the number of Blocks in the Couple Space exceeds the number of Blocks available under the plan in use, the User selects the Blocks to continue using, and the remaining Blocks are not deleted but are moved to archived status together with their records. When there is room in the number of available Blocks, the User may restore archived Blocks for use themselves.
(5) If a User who has paid for Paid Services leaves the Couple Space by deleting their account, unlinking the Couple or joining another Couple Space, automatic renewal of the Paid Services stops and the payment key stored by the Company is destroyed. To use Paid Services again thereafter, a payment method must be newly registered.
(6) In the case of paragraph (5), the remaining partner may continue to use the Paid Services until the end of the period of use already paid for, and if there is no remaining partner, the Paid Services end together with the Couple Space.
(7) The User referred to in paragraph (5) may, even after leaving the Couple Space, request a refund for the remaining period in accordance with Article 37 within the period of use already paid for. In this case, the amount corresponding to the period during which the remaining partner continued to use the Paid Services is deducted, and when the refund is processed, the remaining partner's right to use the Paid Services also ends at that time. The Company shall inform the remaining partner, by the methods in Article 12, when a reason under paragraph (5) occurs and when the right to use Paid Services ends under this paragraph (7).
(8) If the right to use Paid Services expires or the plan is changed to a lower plan, and the stored Files exceed the storage capacity of the plan in use, the Company may, after 180 days have passed from the date on which the right of use expired or the plan was changed, delete Files in the amount of the excess in the following order.
- Originals of high-quality photos (the standard-quality photos remain)
- Videos (starting with the most recently uploaded)
- Photos (starting with the most recently uploaded)
(9) At least 30 days before the scheduled deletion date, the Company shall inform Users, by the methods in Article 12, of the scheduled deletion date, the items and amount to be deleted, and how to avoid deletion (by paying again or deleting files to reduce usage to within the storage capacity). If the User pays again or the amount stored is reduced to within the capacity before the scheduled deletion date, no deletion will be made.
Article 37 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)
(1) Paid Services constitute digital content and services whose use begins upon completion of payment. In accordance with Article 17(6) of the "Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.", the Company clearly indicates before payment, so that Users can easily recognize them, this fact, the fact that withdrawal of subscription is restricted, and the refund and penalty criteria in paragraph (5). Where a free trial is provided, Users may try the Paid Services in advance during that period. Accordingly, under paragraph (2), item 5 of the same Article, withdrawal of subscription under paragraph (1) of the same Article is restricted for the portion whose provision has already commenced.
(2) Notwithstanding paragraph (1), under the proviso to the same item, withdrawal of subscription is not restricted for the period whose provision has not yet commenced, and that portion is refunded in accordance with the criteria in paragraph (5).
(3) If the contents of the Paid Services differ from what was displayed or advertised, or are performed differently from the contract, the User may withdraw the subscription within 3 months from the payment date or within 30 days from the date on which the User became aware or could have become aware of such fact, in accordance with Article 17(3) of the "Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.", in which case the full payment amount is refunded.
(4) Notwithstanding paragraph (1), since Paid Services constitute a transaction provided on a continuous basis, Users may terminate the contract at any time and request a refund for the remaining period.
(5) The refund amount is calculated according to the following items. In this paragraph, "payment amount" means the amount actually paid by the User for the relevant billing cycle, reflecting coupons, discounts and deductions under Article 34(5).
- If a refund is requested within 7 days from the day following the payment date (including the automatic renewal payment date): the balance remaining after deducting the amount corresponding to the number of days used from the payment amount is refunded. In this case, no penalty is charged.
- If a refund is requested for the User's own reasons after 7 days have passed from the day following the payment date: the balance remaining after deducting from the payment amount the amount corresponding to the number of days used and a penalty equal to 10% of the payment amount is refunded. If the amount to be deducted is equal to or greater than the payment amount, there is no amount to be refunded.
- In case of termination due to causes attributable to the Company (including termination under Article 17(5)) or where the provision of Paid Services ends under Article 17(3): without any penalty, the balance remaining after deducting the amount corresponding to the number of days of normal use from the payment amount is refunded. If the Paid Services could not be used at all, the full payment amount is refunded.
(6) The pro rata daily calculation under paragraph (5) is made according to the following items.
- Reference period: for monthly products, from the payment date to the day before the next scheduled payment date; for annual products, from the payment date to the day before the date on which 12 months have elapsed.
- Daily amount: the payment amount divided by the number of days in the reference period.
- Number of days used: the number of days from the payment date to the refund request date, including both the payment date and the request date.
- Treatment of amounts: amounts less than one won are not discarded during the calculation, and amounts less than one won in the final refund amount are discarded.
(7) Since refunds are made to the payment method used for the payment, the refund request must be made by the User who made the relevant payment. Refund requests may be made through the inquiry feature in the Service or by email (info@uniple.app). The Company shall process the cancellation (including partial cancellation) to the payment method used for payment within 3 business days from the date of receiving the request, and depending on the circumstances of the payment agency and the card company, an additional 3 to 7 business days may be required until the actual refund. Where a refund cannot be made to the same payment method, such as where partial cancellation is impossible due to the circumstances of the card company, the Company shall notify the User in advance and make the refund to an account designated by the User.
(8) If a refund is delayed for reasons attributable to the Company, the Company shall pay interest for the period of delay at the rate prescribed by the "Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc." and its Enforcement Decree.
(9) When a refund is processed, the right to use Paid Services expires immediately and automatic renewal stops, and the relevant Blocks are handled in accordance with Article 36(4). However, this does not apply to refunds of overpayments under Article 40 or where the Company refunds part of the payment amount for the benefit of the User.
(10) The free trial period itself is not subject to refund because no payment is made. If a User pays for Paid Services during the free trial period, the period of use of the Paid Services begins on the payment date and the remaining free trial period is extinguished, and paragraphs (5) and (6) apply to that payment.
Article 38 (Payment Failure)
(1) If an automatic renewal payment fails due to reasons such as exceeding the limit of the payment method or its expiration, the Company shall notify the User and retry payment for 7 days from the scheduled renewal date (the "Grace Period"). Users may continue to use the Paid Services during the Grace Period.
(2) Users may change the payment method on the subscription management screen during the Grace Period, and payment is retried immediately upon such change.
(3) If payment is completed during the Grace Period, the new billing cycle begins on the original scheduled renewal date, not on the date the payment was completed, and the next scheduled payment date is also determined based on the original scheduled renewal date.
(4) If payment is not completed by the end of the Grace Period, the Paid Services are deemed to have been cancelled on the original scheduled renewal date and are handled in accordance with Article 36(4). In this case, the Company does not charge for the portion used during the Grace Period.
Article 39 (Changes to Prices and Products)
(1) The Company may change the prices or composition of Paid Services. In the case of a price increase, the Company shall provide notice through announcements and notifications within the Service at least 30 days before the effective date and obtain the User's consent.
(2) The increased price applies, only where the User has consented, from the renewal payment that falls due thereafter. If the User does not consent by the effective date, the subscription is not automatically renewed at the increased price, and the Paid Services end on the last day of the current billing cycle.
(3) For a period of use for which payment has already been completed, the prices and conditions before the change continue to apply.
(4) If a price is reduced, the reduced price applies from the renewal payment that falls due thereafter without separate consent.
Article 40 (Overpayments)
(1) If charges are incorrectly or duplicately billed due to an error of the Company (the "Overpayment"), the Company shall refund the entire Overpayment to the payment method used for payment without delay, and no later than 3 business days, from the date on which it receives the User's request or confirms it on its own.
(2) If an Overpayment arises from causes attributable to the User without intent or negligence on the part of the Company, the User shall bear the actual cost of the refund to a reasonable extent.
(3) The Company may contact the User and request the provision of necessary information in order to process the refund of an Overpayment, and shall process the refund without delay after receiving the necessary information.
Chapter 7 Restrictions on Use, Liability and Dispute Resolution
Article 41 (Restrictions on Use by the Company)

(2) Before taking measures under paragraph (1), the Company shall give the User an opportunity to explain. However, this does not apply where infringement of other Users' rights or violation of law is evident and immediate measures are required.
(3) Users may raise an objection to the Company's restrictions on use through the contact details in Article 3, and if the objection is found to be justified, the Company shall immediately resume the User's use.
(4) If the Company terminates the service agreement with a User who is using Paid Services under paragraph (1), the Company shall treat the date of termination as the refund request date and make a refund in accordance with the criteria in Article 37(5), item 1 or item 2. However, if the Company has suffered damage from the act that constituted the grounds for termination, the Company may claim damages in accordance with Article 42.
(5) If the Company restricts use for a specified period under paragraph (1), charges for the period of restriction are not refunded and the period of use of the Paid Services is not extended. However, if an objection is found to be justified under paragraph (3), the period of use of the Paid Services is extended by the period of restriction.
(6) Even while use is restricted, Users may manage their subscription, change payment methods, cancel, make inquiries and delete their account.
Article 42 (Damages)
(1) If the Company or a User causes damage to the other party by violating these Terms, the party at fault is liable to compensate for such damage.
(2) If a User causes damage to a third party or receives a claim from a third party in the course of using the Service, the User must resolve it at their own responsibility and expense. If the Company suffers damage as a result, the User is liable to compensate the Company for such damage.
Article 43 (Disclaimer)

(2) The Company continuously operates the inquiry feature in the Service and the contact details in Article 3 for compensation for consumer damage and the handling of complaints and disputes.
(3) If a dispute between the Company and a User is not amicably resolved, the User may apply for mediation to a dispute mediation body such as the Korea Consumer Agency (1372 Consumer Counseling Center), the Consumer Dispute Settlement Commission or the E-Commerce Mediation Committee.
Article 45 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
(1) The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to the legal relationship between the Company and Users concerning these Terms and the use of the Service.
